Are Clover Hooks worth the cost?

As a crochet enthusiast, I’ve tried many different types of crochet hooks over the years. I was very lucky to start crocheting with a Clover Soft Touch crochet hook. It’s actually the 5mm hook in the photo above. I’ve had it for over 12 years now. So I guess that says something about durability already! It was quite a while before I ever used a different type of hook, so I didn’t know how spoiled I was! Since then I’ve used all types of hooks and I always come back to my Clover, here’s why:

Comfort: The ergonomic design of the Clover crochet hooks makes them incredibly comfortable to use. They fit comfortably in my hand and I don’t experience any pain or discomfort, even after hours of crocheting.

Smoothness: The metal hooks are incredibly smooth, which makes for easy and effortless crocheting. I don’t have to worry about the hook getting caught in the yarn, which makes for a more enjoyable crocheting experience.

Durability: The Clover crochet hooks are incredibly durable. I’ve used them on a variety of projects, from delicate lace to chunky blankets, and they’ve held up well. They don’t warp or bend, which is important for maintaining accuracy in my stitches.

Variety: The Clover crochet hooks come in a variety of sizes, from small steel hooks for intricate projects to larger hooks for bulky yarns. I appreciate having a range of sizes to choose from, as it allows me to tackle a variety of different projects.

There are several types of Clover hooks available. I’ve slowly built up these few Soft Touch Crochet Hooks as I bought the sizes I needed per project. But you can get a full set of hooks on Amazon so that you have them ready to go!

Overall, I highly recommend the Clover crochet hooks to any crochet enthusiast. They are comfortable, smooth, durable, and come in a variety of sizes. While they may be slightly more expensive than other crochet hooks, I think the investment is worth it for the quality and comfort they provide.
