My favourite yarn purchase this year!
Hey fellow yarn enthusiasts! I’m jumping on quickly today because I’m giddy with excited to share the Water Lily Spinning Yarn Holder from Asteri Studios on Etsy!

A couple of years ago I came across spinning yarn holders for the first time, and honestly I thought it was a gimmick, but I indulged. I bought the Wool Jeanie on Amazon, and it was totally worth the cost! I can crochet so much faster when the yarn is fed to me and I don’t have to stop every couple of stitches to pull yarn from a skein. So, when this popped up on Instagram, I wanted it so bad. And much to my delight it was for sale in the UK (so often these amazing handmade items are US only). I jumped over to Asteri Studios Etsy store immediately to buy one. I’m really glad I did!
When my Water Lily arrived, I practically tore through the packaging like a kid on Christmas morning. There’s something even more exciting about getting a handmade item, and this yarn holder was no exception. The 3D printed and hand-finished details gave it character, imperfections and all. Crafted from PLA filament, this yarn holder is the center piece of my crafting tools. I’ve put it through the wringer with various projects, and it is standing strong. No wobbling, no complaints!
I went for the classic white Water Lily because it is just so pretty! Those delicate petals not only keep my yarn untangled but also add a touch of elegance to my crochet corner. I’ve found myself admiring it more than once. There’s a pink version for those craving a burst of color, and a mushroom-shaped one for those whimsical crafting moments. Choices, choices! But be warned these bad boys sell fast! Getting my hands on this beauty was like winning a crafting lottery. If you’re eyeing one, my advice is to set those Etsy notifications to ‘on’ β you won’t regret it!
So, if you’re on the lookout for a crochet companion or a cute Christmas gift that’s equal parts practical and enchanting, head over to Asteri Studios on Etsy. Your yarn deserves it, and so do you. Happy crafting, my fellow yarn addicts! πΈπ
